Business Development (Executive / Manager)
1. Role Overview
This is a core position responsible for building a brand-new international exhibition business in Vietnam from the ground up. The role focuses on identifying and developing international partners, introducing global exhibition models, brands, and concepts to the Vietnamese market for the first time, and working directly with the Exhibition Units CEO.
This position is ideal for candidates with a global mindset, strong capabilities in proposal development, pitching, and negotiation, and a passion for building new markets at an early stage.
2. Key Responsibilities
Conduct market research and proactively identify potential partners in Europe, the Middle East, Korea, Japan, China, Singapore, the U.S., and other markets.
Establish and develop international partnerships in exhibitions, MICE, trade promotion, and IP/branding.
Prepare partnership proposals, cooperation concepts, business plans, and MOU documentation tailored to each partner and market.
Participate in discussions and negotiations of cooperation terms and support the signing of MOUs.
Coordinate internally to handover partners post-MOU to operations and sales teams for further execution and relationship management.
Monitor early-stage collaboration progress to ensure alignment with strategic objectives and international standards.
Propose new exhibition ideas and business models; contribute to concept development, zoning, and industry mix when required.
Note: This role does not directly handle commercial contract signing; its primary focus is strategic partnership development and collaboration setup.
3. Candidate Requirements
Flexible age range: candidates born in the 1990s or 2000s, with a long-term career orientation in international business development.
Minimum 2 years of experience in Business Development, Partnership Development, International Sales, or Trade Promotion, working with overseas clients and partners.
Fluent English for business communication, negotiation, and proposal writing; Korean language skills are a plus.
Strong ability in proposal writing, project concept development, pitching, and international negotiation.
Strategic, proactive, and creative mindset, with the ability to work independently and develop new markets.
Preference for candidates with experience in MICE, exhibitions, trade promotion, or international consulting services.
4. Compensation & Benefits
Income: Up to VND 50,000,000 net
Initial phase: No performance bonus applied due to the early-stage nature of the exhibition project.
